The Cybersecurity Challenge
The Institute for Cyber Threat Defense understands that cyber warfare is the greatest existential threat to the U.S. in the history of our nation - that WE are ill prepared to win. As good as our U.S. cyber forces are, they cannot provide adequate defense from within the everyday systems of our free and open society. Adversarial nations are outmanning and outspending the U.S. in offensive cyber capabilities to create their own form of deterrence, first-strike capability, and espionage mechanisms. If undeterred, adversaries will gain cyber dominance which will pose a serious risk to U.S. national security and national economic interests, and inevitably grave threats to the lives of U.S. citizens.
